Here at ACME Fibres, any and all products you buy from us are RETURNABLE AT NO COST TO YOU, WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Yes, you heard that right - everything is returnable for a full refund or replacement with a similar item, as long as it's in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Sometimes online shopping can lead to surprises, and we want them to be nice ones - if they're not, let us know how we can make it right for you. That's all - no tricks, no conditions, no hoops to jump through; we want ACME Fibres to be a place where you can shop fearlessly. If anything you've bought from us is not exactly what you wanted, all you have to do is contact us at customerservice@acmefibres.com and we'll start working to make things right.

If anything you buy from us fails in use due to a manufacturer's defect, we will replace it at no charge to you. If we ask you to send it back to us so we can help the manufacturer determine how to solve their problem, we'll cover your shipping costs. 

 

Currencies

The currency that we use on this site is the Canadian dollar.
 

Methods of Payment

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express directly through our site. Payments are securely processed through a fully PCI-compliant service provider.
  • PayPal account holders: We accept credit card, debit card, and eCheck payments through PayPal. If you choose eCheck, your goods will ship after we receive notice that the funds have been cleared through our account.
  • Interac e-Transfer: Canadian customers with participating banks are welcome to use Interac On-Line. Contact us before payment so we can provide you with our e-Transfer email address. Please see their site for more information: https://www.interac.ca/en/interac-etransfer/etransfer-detail 

We are based in Ontario, so Canadian residents will be charged GST or HST depending on what your province charges; Ontario residents will be charged HST.

 

Shipping Charges

We use Canada Post's online shipping database to provide actual, real-time shipping costs to you as you place your order. There are no handling or materials fees added in - just the cost of shipping to you, clear and simple. Doing this allows us to keep our prices as low as possible.

We provide Free Shipping (Expedited Parcel) for orders over $200 to all destinations in Canada only.

Shipping Times

We use Canada Post as our main shipping carrier; most orders will be sent out via Expedited Parcel, Tracked Packet, or Small Packet Air, depending on the size and weight. During the checkout process, you'll usually be offered a couple of different shipping options with estimated delivery dates.

We also offer Lettermail post for small, flat items like knitting needles. Oversize Lettermail packets DO NOT have tracking numbers, and may take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days, as Canada Post has to sort them by hand rather than machine. The shipping cost is very cheap, but remember that you get what you pay for. 

Unless your order includes backordered items, or you're otherwise notified, you can expect your order to be packed up and sent out to you within 2 business days of receipt of payment. You will receive an email notification when your package goes out. Orders sent to the United States or other International destinations will be accompanied by the appropriate customs paperwork, including a full and accurate valuation of the contents. Payment of any and all applicable duties and taxes levied by your country are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Do not ask us to mark it as a gift, we won't do it.

 All orders are fully insured against damage and loss in transit; please let us know immediately if there are any problems so that we can resolve them for you as soon as possible
